Dexter Doyne

Virgil Dexter Doyne is a Little Rock, Arkansas native. He began his construction company in
1983 in his hometown community of College Station. Although this business did not relate to Mr.
Doyne’s career aspirations in filmmaking, it was a natural outgrowth of another of his priorities,
supporting his family. Mr. Doyne had returned to Arkansas from California to help his ailing
father with the family’s housing rental and rehabilitation business. From this humble and selfless
start has come a multi-million-dollar commercial construction company that performs all types of
construction projects throughout Arkansas and in the surrounding states. Some notable Doyne
Construction projects include the “President Bill Clinton School of Public Service” at the Clinton
Library, “Little Rock Nine” Historic Monument on the Arkansas State Capitol grounds and
several Arvest Bank facilities throughout the state. Mr. Doyne is a 1972 graduate of Parkview
High School in Little Rock. After moving to California, he later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree
in Filmmaking from San Francisco State University in 1977. In addition to being president and
CEO of Doyne Construction Company, Inc. he is the general manager of the Doyne Family Real
Estate Partnership.

Mr. Doyne has been married to Angela Kay Doyne for 39 years. The couple has three children, Angele’ Nicole (36), Kayla Anjanette (32), and Mason Dexter Doyne (28).
